The short answer: do not pay
If a call girl number asks you for an advance payment, a booking fee or a "security deposit" before anyone has reached you, do not pay it. A real agency takes money once, at the end, when the girl is standing at your door and you have seen her.
That is the whole rule, for any call girl or escort number in Bangalore, however polite it sounds. The rest of this page is about why it matters, what happened to one Bengaluru man who paid the first small fee, and what to do today if you have already sent money.
How ₹400 became ₹1.4 lakh
This case was reported by Asianet Newsable on 6 May 2025. The man was a 29-year-old techie from Electronics City. The report calls him Rahul, which is not his real name. On 20 April he was looking for company, browsing escort websites, when he found one called "Kissbal Escorts Services". He picked a profile and called the number on it. He was passed on to a second person, who told him about the girl: her age, what she did for work, which languages she spoke.
Then came the first request: ₹400 to confirm the booking. He paid it through a payment app. They also had his address from the location he had shared, and they told him she would be sent soon. What came next was not the girl. It was the next fee. Here is every demand the report lists, in the order it came:
| Step | What they called it | Amount | Paid so far |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Booking confirmation | ₹400 | ₹400 |
| 2 | Security deposit, "refundable" | ₹6,900 | ₹7,300 |
| 3 | Second security deposit, "refundable" | ₹6,900 | ₹14,200 |
| 4 | Payment to "activate a service code" | ₹9,500 | ₹23,700 |
| 5 | Second service code payment | ₹9,500 | ₹33,200 |
| 6 | Cancellation charge, when he tried to cancel | ₹7,590 | ₹40,790 |
| 7 | Another demand after cancelling | ₹7,990 | ₹48,780 |
| 8 | "GST" and other charges | Not listed one by one | About ₹1.4 lakh |
| 9 | Threats of "serious trouble" if he did not pay | - | - |
The named fees add up to ₹48,780. The report puts his total at about ₹1.4 lakh, so roughly ₹90,000 more went out as "GST" and other made-up charges. Each time, he was told the money was refundable. That one word did most of the work. This is how an advance payment scam grows: nothing on the list was ever meant to come back.
Then the threats began, with calls and extortion messages that kept coming. Because of the kind of case it was, he did not want to go to the police at first. In the end he did. Police registered a cheating case under the IT Act and BNS Section 318, and a senior officer said steps had been taken to freeze the bank accounts linked to the fraud.
He was not the only one. In August 2025 the Deccan Herald reported a 24-year-old engineer in Central Bengaluru who clicked a Telegram link, paid ₹299 "to begin", and ended up sending ₹1,49,052 in one "service charge" after another. Different start, same ladder: small first, bigger next, then fear. That is how the call girl booking fee scam usually runs.
What they say, and what it means
An escort number asking for advance payment rarely says it straight. It wraps each demand in a line that sounds reasonable in the moment. Here are the demands from the Bengaluru cases above, in the kind of words these numbers use, and what each one really means:
- "Only ₹400, just to confirm." The amount is small on purpose. It tests if you will pay a stranger. Once you have paid once, the next demand feels easier, because now you want to protect the first payment.
- "She is getting ready, just pay the security." A deposit for a meeting that has not happened. Anyone really sending a girl to you does not need your money before she leaves.
- "It is fully refundable." Money sent to these numbers does not come back by sending more.
- "Pay to activate your service code." A real booking has a girl's name, a time and a place. It does not have a code that costs money to switch on.
- "To cancel, pay the cancellation charge." If you have not met anyone, cancelling costs nothing. This fee exists only because you said stop.
- "Your refund comes after GST." A refund never needs money from you. Tax on a refund is simply another fee.
- "Pay now, or you will be in serious trouble." This is the last stage. The threat shows up when they feel you are about to stop, and it is there to scare one more payment out of you.
Not sure about a number before you chat? The government's cybercrime.gov.in site has a "Check Suspect" search where you can type a mobile number, bank account or website and see if it is linked to reported fraud. It takes a minute, and no genuine agency will mind you doing it. Better still, send no advance at all.
Already paid? Do this today
If you paid an advance to a call girl number and nobody came, you are not the first, and it is not too late to act. First, stop. Do not send one more rupee, whatever name they give it. Then go down this list in order:
- Call 1930. It is the national cyber crime helpline for money frauds, run by the Home Ministry's cyber crime centre (I4C). Call as soon as you can, even at night. The first hour gives the best chance that the money is stopped before they move it. Keep the amounts, times and UPI IDs in front of you.
- File the full complaint on cybercrime.gov.in. After the call you should get an SMS with a complaint number. Use it on the portal, choose financial fraud, and add every payment with its transaction (UTR) number. The same site has a "Report Suspect" page for the WhatsApp number, Telegram ID or website that cheated you.
- Tell your bank and your UPI app. Open each payment in the app, go to help, and report it as fraud. Call your bank's fraud line as well and give them your complaint number.
- Take screenshots before you block anyone. The chat, their number, the UPI IDs or QR codes they sent, the website link, and each payment screen. This is your proof, and you will need it for the complaint.
- Do not pay the "refund" or "cancel" fee. Paying to get money back only makes the loss bigger. In the Electronics City case, trying to cancel cost him ₹15,580 on its own.
- Then block them everywhere. WhatsApp, Telegram and your phone. If threats come from new numbers, do not reply. Save them and add them to your complaint.
Feeling embarrassed is normal, and it is exactly what these people count on. The man in Electronics City nearly stayed quiet too. He reported it, the police took the case, and they moved to freeze the accounts. The sooner you act, the more there is to save.
