The honest answer first

Is it safe to book an escort in Bangalore? Mostly yes, if you book the right way. The law is grey, not clear, and for a client the real risks are fake numbers, money taken before the meeting and blackmail calls, far more than the police. Here is the law in plain words, then each risk and how to avoid it.

What Indian law says, in plain words

This is not legal advice. It is our plain reading as of September 2026. If you are ever in real trouble, speak to a lawyer.

Is escort service legal in India? No Indian law uses the word "escort". Paid sex is covered by the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act, 1956, called ITPA. It makes these things crimes:

  • Keeping or managing a brothel, or letting a place be used as one (Section 3).
  • Living on the money another person earns from sex work (Section 4).
  • Procuring someone, or pushing someone into the work (Section 5).
  • Soliciting in a public place, or where people there can see or hear it (Section 8).
  • Paid sex in any building within 200 metres of a place of worship, school, college, hostel, hospital or nursing home, or in an area the state has notified (Section 7). This one names "the person with whom" it happens too, so it covers the client: up to three months in jail.

What the Act does not name as a crime is two willing adults meeting in private, away from those places, with nobody running a brothel. Most bookings sit in that grey space.

On 19 May 2022 the Supreme Court, in Budhadev Karmaskar v State of West Bengal, ordered police to treat sex workers with dignity and not abuse them. A line asking police to leave consenting adults alone was opposed by the central government and was not made an order. So the ruling protects dignity. It is not a licence.

Can police arrest a customer? In some cases, yes, and the High Courts do not agree. The Karnataka High Court, which covers Bangalore, said in April 2022 (Babu S v State) that a customer found in a raided brothel cannot be dragged into a criminal case, and called that its consistent view. The Kerala High Court said the opposite on 1 September 2026: the customer is an active part of the deal and can be charged.

India's new criminal code, the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), replaced the old IPC on 1 July 2024. The section that matters most for a client is Section 144, which was IPC 370A. If you know, or have reason to believe, that a woman was trafficked and you still engage her, it means three to seven years of hard jail, and five to ten if she is under 18. In June 2026 the Telangana High Court said being near a brothel is not enough for this charge; knowing, or having reason to believe, is. And under BNS Section 63, sex with a girl under 18 is rape, with or without her consent.

The plain summary: an adult who meets you by her own choice, in your own room, keeps you away from what the law mainly goes after. A minor, or a woman someone else controls, puts you right inside it.

The real risks, most common first

What makes an escort booking in Bangalore go wrong is almost never the police. As our booking-desk report puts it, we see the same scam patterns every week.

1. Fake numbers that take money before the meeting

This one catches the most men. In 2025, Asianet Newsable and the Deccan Herald each reported a Bengaluru techie who lost about Rs 1.4 lakh this way, one small "fee" at a time.

  • Use the number printed on a website that has been around for years, not a number someone sends you in a chat.
  • If you already paid, call 1930, the national cyber crime helpline, the same hour. The faster you call, the more money can be stopped.

2. Fake police and angry "husbands"

In December 2024 an IT man from Electronics City met a woman from an online portal at a hotel on Residency Road and paid her Rs 16,000. She then said she was a police officer in disguise, and an "IPS officer" on a WhatsApp call told him he was under "digital arrest". Rs 8.1 lakh left through his credit card before he got her down to reception and told the staff. She ran, and was later arrested (Asianet Newsable).

In November 2025 a woman found online came to a 47-year-old techie's Koramangala hotel room, and a man on the phone said he was a cybercrime officer running a sting. They asked Rs 5 lakh to "settle", took Rs 1.56 lakh and filmed him to keep him quiet (Deccan Herald). They even quoted an IPC section, 16 months after the IPC was replaced. The same trick also comes as a shouting "husband" on the phone.

  • "Digital arrest" is the name of a scam, not a police step. The government's cyber crime centre (I4C) says in its public advice that police do not arrest anyone on a video call.
  • A real officer does not settle a case over UPI. Ask his name, rank and police station, say you will call 112 yourself, and walk down to the hotel desk.
  • Do not pay the first amount. It tells them you will pay again.

3. A drink, a long sleep, a missing chain

Also in November 2025, a techie met a woman from the Happn dating app at a hotel in Indiranagar, drank a glass of water she gave him, and woke up with his gold and cash gone, about Rs 6.9 lakh in all (Deccan Herald). That was a dating app, not a booking, but it can happen with any stranger in your room.

  • Leave the gold chain, the good watch and spare cash at home or in the room safe.
  • Open your own drinks. Keep your phone locked, and never type your UPI PIN where someone can see it.

4. Trouble at the hotel desk

Section 7 of ITPA also says a hotel that knowingly allows paid sex can have its licence suspended for three months to a year. That is why many desks write every visitor in a register and ask for ID. It is rarely dangerous, just awkward. Our note for men staying in a hotel goes through each kind of desk.

  • Before you book the room, ask the hotel till what time visitors can come up.
  • If the desk asks for her ID, let her show it. Never argue with staff.

5. Real police

For a man meeting one adult in his own room, this is the least likely problem. Raids are aimed at brothels, spa fronts and street pick-ups.

  • Do not go to a flat or "spa" where several girls are kept. That is the place that gets raided.
  • If she cannot talk freely, someone else holds her phone or money, she seems scared, or she looks under 18, stop and leave. Those are exactly the cases BNS 144 and BNS 63 are written for.
  • If real police come, stay calm and polite, pay no one, and ask to call a lawyer.

Our own rules at the desk

We have run NeverEndServices in Bangalore since 2019. A safe escort booking starts with rules that shut out the risks above:

  • Money moves once, at the end. Pay her in cash or UPI after she arrives. Never any advance. The first step of every scam on this page has nothing to hold on to.
  • Adults only. Every girl we send is an adult, over 18.
  • Full refund. If anyone ever scams you in our name, we pay you back in full.
  • Your place. She comes to your hotel or your home, so you never walk into a flat full of strangers.

Two hours costs ₹9,500 to ₹18,000, depending on the girl, and you can see the girls and what each one charges before you send a single message. The desk is open from 11 AM to 3:30 AM on Monday to Thursday, and from 11:30 AM to 4:30 AM on Friday to Sunday, on WhatsApp or on a call to +91 9980298006.

Before you decide

Ask first, book later

Nobody can promise a night with zero risk, and we will not pretend to. We control the simple parts: no money before you meet her, an adult woman at your door, and straight answers on WhatsApp. Ask first. If an answer feels wrong, do not book, with us or anyone.
